Dr Can Özbilgen

Can Özbilgen, a graduate of Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry (ING) and a proponent of continuous education, completed his master’s degree in “Contemporary Aesthetic and Digital Dentistry” at the University of Siena in Italy. After working in various clinics, he became one of the founding partners of DentGroup Nisantasi Dental Clinic in Nisantasi in 2019. In 2023, he left his partnership and founded Can Özbilgen Advanced and Aesthetic Dentistry, aiming to personalize his patients’ clinical experiences.

Dr. Özbilgen, who enjoys sharing his professional work and experiences, teaches courses on digital dentistry and aesthetic dentistry at Acibadem University’s Faculty of Oral and Dental Health.

While a student, Dr. Özbilgen served as the Student President of the Istanbul Chamber of Dentists, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Aesthetic Dentistry Academy (Young EDAD), and the Digital Thought Leader of the Oral B-supported Team Genius project. Later, in a world where everything is globalized, Dr. Dr. Özbilgen has begun pursuing his professional career internationally. To this end, he completed his master’s degree in Italy and currently primarily participates in international congresses, research, and workshops abroad. Dr. Özbilgen is a member of EDAD (Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry), IFED (International Association of Academies of Aesthetic Dentistry), ESCD (European Association of Cosmetic Dentistry), and TDB (Turkish Dental Association).

Dr. Özbilgen maintains close relationships with his patients, engaging in continuous interaction and thus practicing “proactive dentistry” to address potential problems at the earliest stages. This approach also supports the philosophy of “minimum touch, maximum result.”

Dr. Can Özbilgen believes that making a difference lies in the details. Using a dental microscope found in only a few select clinics in Istanbul, he performs root canal treatments, fillings, and periodontal surgeries. He emphasizes maximum care and digitalization at every stage of his treatments, utilizing digital anesthesia, 3D printers, and intraoral scanning devices.

For Dr. Özbilgen, dental aesthetics are not just about straight or white teeth. According to him, a smile is a person’s gateway to the world. In approaching each patient, he aims not only for beautiful teeth but also for long-lasting treatment results that are harmonious with the face and reflect the patient’s character. For him, a smile is the sound of self-confidence, happiness, and new beginnings. Every design and touch he creates allows a person to rediscover themselves. He wholeheartedly believes that life can be lived more beautifully with a smile that reflects freedom. Therefore, Dr. Özbilgen views each treatment not merely as a technical procedure, but as a work of art that touches the soul.
